Justice and Grace are two sides of a coin
That has a peculiar trait
Although like coins, it is two-faced
When tossed, it shows just Grace
This coin was forged in Heaven’s mint
And tossed by God’s own hand
Ever since He’s been giving us a hint
What to choose before it lands
Mid-air this coin keeps spinning
Throughout this game of Life
Where there is only one inning
Complete with struggle and strife
It matters not how well you play
There’s just one rule to abide:
Accept that face that you see as Grace
Then you’re on the winning side
You ask how long this game will last?
Your guess is as good as mine
But decide on Grace, and make it fast
For there’ll be no overtime
Your Life will end when the coin does fall
And your wrongs God will erase
But only if you chose to make the right call
Would you then be saved by Grace
If perchance you didn’t choose at all
It would land on Justice’s side
And that, my friend, would be your downfall
For it’s too late then to decide
So the final outcome of your life
Comes down to that one toss
And if Justice ever shows its face
There is no Grace… just loss
